Is BioKap hair dye suitable for sensitive skin?
BioKap dyes are free from PPD , ammonial and resorcinol which are the
main irritants in hair dyes. The formula is also only on the skin for 10
minutes which makes it better tolerated. A sensitivity test must be performed
48 hours before every application. Do not use hair colouring products if you
have a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp, or if you have previously
experienced a reaction to hair dyes or temporary black henna tattoos.
Can I use half of the hair dye and keep the other half forlater?
Yes, the Hair dye kit can be split and used in two occasions as
some people with short hair or thin hair might find the whole kit too much and it can be wasteful.
For the 1st half being used, it is advised to pour
the content of the kit in a non- metallic little ramequin or plastic bowl which
is being used right away.
The remaining portion of the hair dye should not be mixed and can be used up to 4 weeks later.
If someone decides to use half of the hair dye, how is itrecommended to store the rest of the content for the following 4 weeks? Can itbe stored in the fridge?
The rest of the content can be stored at room temperature but no
need to put it in the fridge
Caution: Do NOT store hair dye once the chemicals have been combined or
mixed because it can expand and burst.
How do BioKap Dyes work injust 10 minutes?
C12-13 lactic acid esters are included in the rapid dye at an increased dosage. These esters create a smart enzyme activator which means colour can bind to the hair keratin faster. As the dye develops faster, the contact time with the scalp is reduced making it more gentle on skin and perfectly tolerated.
What should I do to my hair before I apply BioKap Rapid dye toensure it lasts as long as possible?
Make sure your hair does not have any products on it that could potentially act as a barrier to prevent the colour penetrating the hair, such as styling products or hair treatment creams and oils. Some mass market shampoos and conditioners contain silicone that adds an artificial shine to the
hair, this also may prevent an effective application of the BioKap Rapid Dye.
Do the hair dyes containgluten?
BioKap hair dyes are gluten free and suitable for coeliacs.
What % Hydrogen Peroxide do the dyes contain?
The Rapid hair dyes contain 6% hydrogen peroxide in the colour developer, while the lightening cream contains 11%.
